Saleh Gomaa included in Al Ahly squad for Misr El-Maqassa clash

Al Ahly head coach Hossam El-Badry announced his team’s squad that will face in the Egyptian Premier League which included playmaker .

Saleh Gomaa returned after being excluded in the past period from the squad following disappointing behavior that he apologized to and promised to make the comeback all fans and coaching staff have been waiting for. El-Badry also decided to include Islam Mohareb in addition to young goalkeeper Ramadan Mostafa.

The coach decided to rest team captain Hossam Ashour and did not include Emad Meteb, Marwan Mohsen, Mido Gaber, Ahmed El-Sheikh, Ahmed Hamoudi, Amr Barakat, Hesham Mohamed and Abdallah El-Shamy.

Additionally, Saad Samir, Rami Rabia, Mohamed El-Shennawy and Ali Maaloul were not included due to their injuries.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Adel, Ramadan Mostafa.

Defenders: Sabry Rahil, Mohamed Hany, Ayman Ashraf, Bassem Ali, Mohamed Naguib, Ahmed Fathi, Hussen El-Sayed

Midfielders: Abdallah El-Said, Amr El-Sulaya, Momen Zakaria, Akram Tawfik, Karim Nedved, Walid Soliman, Saleh Gomaa, Islam Mohareb.

Forwards: Walid Azaro, Junior Ajayi, Ahmed Yasser Rayan, Phakamani Mahlambi.

The Red Devils are currently second in the league table with 25 points after nine games only and two points away from league leaders Ismaily.
