Cameroonian Eric has expressed his delight at Egyptian teammate ’s first Premier League goal.

The goal came in the dying minutes of a 3-1 Stoke victory over Ahmed Hegazi’s West Brom. It was Sobhi’s first goal in his Premier League career.

Regarding the goal, striker Choupo-Moting said, “I am very happy for Ramadan too because I know he hasn’t scored this season so it meant a lot to him”.

He went on to emphasize the importance of the match and the full 3 points, as it “had been a while since we recorded a win”.

The Cameroonian concluded, “I think the pressure has been on us all week because if you look at the table and where we stand, it is not where we want to be. I’m happy about the performance today, but most important of all, the three points”.

Stoke next face Huddersfield on Boxing Day, who sit 3 spots ahead of them in the league table with 3 more points.
