Egypt team manager claims Egypt will probably face next March instead of , in the national side’s preparations for the World Cup.

After learning our group from the draw at the start of December, the team’s management is currently choosing the best oppositions to face prior to the competition.

Leheta declared that our game against Bulgaria could probably be canceled as the national team will be staying in Switzerland this March and the Bulgarian side are not willing to travel there which will make the management switch to facing Greece.

Leheta also mentioned that they are still not sure who our opponents will be next May.

“We will stay at Switzerland and we will face there, as Bulgaria are not open to play in Switzerland we will probably face Greece. We are still not sure which teams we will face in May though.”

“We are currently in talks with Serbia, Chile and Colombia.”

Greece have no qualified to the World Cup after getting knocked out by Croatia in the play-offs.

As the national team will be facing Uruguay, Russia and Saudi Arabia in the group stage with a huge chance of facing Spain or Portugal if we qualify, the management is currently cherry picking the most similar opponents ahead of the competition that will start on June 14.
