Former Zamalek defender Shawky El-Said joins Ittihad of Alexandria
Former Zamalek defender Shawky El-Said has completed his move to Ittihad of Alexandria on a free transfer until the end of the season.
The Alexandria-based team have sealed the services of the Egyptian defender as the club continue to strengthen their squad during the winter transfer window. The club have already signed Zamalek midfielder Ahmed Kaboria on loan until the end of the season.
El-Said had joined Zamalek from Ismaily in 2016, where he played 10 games and scored one goal. He left a year later to join Kuwaiti side Al-Arabi on a free transfer but terminated his contract after six months only.
Ittihad currently sit 15th on the league table with 14 points. They are scheduled to face eighth-place Misr El-Makassa on December 29.
