Saleh Gomaa fined again for missing training session

Al Ahly director of football, Sayed Abdel Hafiz, has fined for the second time in December after missing another training session without permission.

Saleh Gomaa was fined earlier this month for missing the training session for excluded players from Ahly’s squad to face Enppi and has gone and missed another training session on Friday for the excluded players from the Petrojet game, which Al Ahly won 3-0.

Gomaa has taken part in only four of Ahly’s 14 league games this season, bagging only one assist as his side are currently second in the league with 33 points, four behind leaders Ismaily, who played two more games.

The midfielder has got back to training on Sunday in preparation for Al-Nasr encounter, which will take part on Tuesday at the Cairo International Stadium.

The 24-year-old midfielder has joined Al Ahly in 2015 from ENPPI, making 54 appearances across all competitions since then and scoring 10 goals.

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.
