Marwan Mohsen returns as Al Ahly name squad for Al Nasr
Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry has named a 22-man squad for his side’s league encounter against Al Nasr on Tuesday.
The Red Devils are set to face 16th-placed Al Nasr at 7:00 pm CLT in a postponed gameweek eight fixture.
The squad witnessed the return of striker Marwan Mohsen after recovering from the ACL injury he sustained during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in January. Ahmed Hamoudi, Hesham Mohamed and Bassem Ali were also included in the list.
However, Al Ahly will miss the services of Sherif Ekramy, Abdallah El-Said, Hossam Ashour and Saad Samir due to injuries.
Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ahmed Adel, Ramadan Mostafa
Defenders: Ahmed Fathi, Rami Rabia, Ali Maaloul, Mohamed Hany, Ayman Ashraf, Bassem Ali
Midfielders: Amr El-Sulaya, Walid Soliman, Ahmed El-Sheikh, Momen Zakaria, Hesham Mohamed, Ahmed Hamdy, Islam Mohareb, Ahmed Hamoudi, Mido Gaber
Forwards: Walid Azaro, Ahmed Yasser Rayan, Marwan Mohsen, Phakamani Mahlambi
Al Nasr, who have 13 points from 15 games, are hoping to earn a positive result that would help them in getting out of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Al Ahly, who sit second and have two games in hand, are looking to close the gap between themselves and current leaders Ismaily.
