Report: Mohamed Abdelshafy on Al Nassr’s radar

Egypt international is on Al Nassr’s radar ahead of the January transfer window, claim reports from .

The 32-year-old left back has played just 180 minutes with Al Ahli in the this season after suffering a knee injury that costed him his starting spot to Saudi international Mansour Al Harbi. As a result, both the club and a player have come to agreement to part ways.

Reports suggest that Al Nassr, who signed Hossam Ghaly in the last transfer window, are interested in signing Abdelshafy in place of inconsistent Moroccan left back Saad Lagrou. Al Nassr currently sit in third place with 27 points form 16 games this season.

However, Abdelshafy has also been linked to a move back to Zamalek who currently sit in fourth place with 28 points from 15 games.

Al Ahli will face Al Shoalah on January 6 in the King’s Cup before returning to league play against Al Batin on January 12 .
