Ahmed Eid joins Wadi Degla
Egyptian midfielder Ahmed Eid Abdelmalek has transferred from Al-Masry to Wadi Degla on a bosman deal.
The 37 year old, who previously played for Zamalek and for the Egyptian National Team joined Al Masry in July on a free transfer after his contract ended with Tala’a El-Gaish, which he joined two years ago coming from Zamalek.
Eid joined Degla on a six-month agreement after he was released by his former club Al Masry.
Wadi Degla are currently struggling in the Egyptian Premier League, as they are in 15th place with 15 points after 16 gameweeks. Ahmed Eid’s previous side Al-Masry are currently in 3rd place.
The 37-year-old started his football career with the White Knights’ youth team in the 2000/2001 season. He then moved to Aswan and Ghazl El-Mahalla. Later, he joined Haras El-Hodod where he played 111 games with the club, scored 34 goals and made 21 assists. He also won the Egyptian Cup in 2008 with Haras El-Hodod.
