Official: Momen Zakaria joins Saudi side Al Ahli on loan

has joined Saudi Arabian side from Cairo giants on a six-month loan deal, the Saudi side announced on Thursday.

KingFut previously revealed that representatives of the Saudi side arrived in Cairo to seal the signing of the Egypt international. He joins the club for a fee of $400,000 on a six-month loan deal.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who joined Al Ahly in the 2015 January transfer window, scored one goal in 11 league appearances with the Red Devils this season. He waved goodbye to fans as he celebrated his goal in a 3-2 friendly defeat to Atletico Madrid last week.

Zakaria became the third player to depart Al Ahly during the winter transfer window, after veteran striker Emad Meteb joined Saudi Pro League side Al Taawoun, and Ahmed El-Sheikh moved to Ettifaq on a six-month loan deal.

Zakaria will play at Al Ahli until the end of the season. The club sit second on the league table with 31 points, three behind leaders Al Hilal who still have a game in hand.
