Two Egyptians included in CAF’s Best XI of 2017

’s and were included in ’s Best XI of 2017, which was announced during the Awards event held in Ghanaian capital Accra on Thursday.

Salah and Fathi were part of Egypt’s squad that guided the Pharaohs to the 2018 World Cup in Russia. They also played an integral role in leading Egypt to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations final.

On the club level, Fathi helped Al Ahly win the Egyptian Premier League and the Egypt Cup, as well as reach the 2017 CAF Champions League final.

Meanwhile, Salah, who joined Liverpool from Serie side AS Roma, had an impressive year, as he managed 58 goal contributions — 39 goals and 19 assists – in his 60 official games in 2017 for Egypt, Roma and Liverpool.

The squad also included Tunisia’s Ali Maaloul and Nigeria’s Junior Ajayi who play for Cairo giants Al Ahly.

    How is the best 11 classified which characteristics were taking to consideration of which the last 3 players are not involved only salah
