Assiouty release Cofie Bekoe, Boubacar Traoré

Egyptian Premier League side have officially terminated the contracts of Ghanaian forward and Mali U-20 striker only six months follow their signing.

Bekoe joined Assiouty in previous summer transfer window on a free transfer after an initial move to Entag El Harby fell through. The 29-year-old has made just one appearance for Assiouty this season without getting any goals to his name.

The club has also ended the services of 19-year-old striker Boubacar Traore after the Malian failed to impress, without collecting any appearances for Assiouty. Though, the youngster has three goals in four games with Mali U-20.

Assiouty occupy the 13th place in the Premier League table with 19 points from 16 games, despite their eye-catching showings with head coach Ali Maher.
