Zamalek board member and football director has fined and referred him for investigation.

Youssef has fined Ibrahim 100,000 EGP for the second time in a month. He had been fined after Zamalek’s win over Ittihad of Alexandria in gameweek 14 for not following the coach’s instructions.

Zamalek president Mortada Mansour also opened fire on the midfielder last Friday for his lack of commitment to the club, saying the player faked injury so he wouldn’t travel with the squad to face Assiouty Sport.

On Friday’s training session, the 25-year-old midfielder was fined and referred for investigation for disrespecting club caretaker Nabil Mahmoud.

Mahmoud has been appointed as the club caretaker after the sacking of Montenegrin coach Nebojša Jovović.

Zamalek, who currently sit fourth on the league table, are scheduled to face arch-rivals Al Ahly in the Cairo derby on Monday.

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.
