Nebojša Jovović returns for second stint as Al Faisaly manager
Jordanian side Al Faisaly have appointed Nebojša Jovović as manager after the Montenegrin was sacked as Zamalek manager four days ago.
Nebojša left Al Faisaly to take over at Cairo giants Zamalek last August, replacing Portuguese coach Augusto Inácio, who was sacked following due to a series of disappointing results.
However, Nebojša couldn’t help to get the club on the right track, as the Whites suffered four losses and four draws in his 18 matches in charge and was sacked following Zamalek’s surprise 1-0 loss to Tala’a El-Gaish.
And now he has returned back for a second spell with Al Faisaly, who currently sit fourth in the Jordanian Premier League with 19 points, five behind league leaders Al Wehdat.
The 43-year-old guided Al Faisaly to the domestic triple during his first stint in charge and the club’s fans will surely be delighted with the Montenegrin return.
