Mohamed Salah listed among world’s top 15 most expensive players
Egypt international Mohamed Salah is the 12th most valuable player in the world, moving up 28 places in just six months.
Mohamed Salah, who has recently won the 2017 CAF Player of the Year award, has been really impressive since his €42 million switch from AS Roma to Liverpool.

He has scored 23 goals and assisted eight times in 29 games across all competitions, as well as winning the November’s Premier League POTM, Liverpool’s POTM three times, and two consecutive PFA Fans’ POTM.
And according to CIES Football Observatory, that made his value rise from €67.5 million to €140.5 million, higher than Raheem Sterling, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus, Eden Hazard and Cristiano Ronaldo, who is in the 49th place.
He is also the seventh most expensive player in the Premier League, only behind Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Kevin de Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba, and Leroy Sane.
Meanwhile, PSG’s winger Neymar topped the list with a transfer value of €213m, Lionel Messi came in second place with a value of €202.2m. Tottenham’s Harry Kane came third valued at €194.7m, with Kylian Mbappé and Paulo Dybala coming fourth and fifth with values of €192.5m and €174.6m respectively.
