legend has praised Egypt international after his electric start to life at Anfield.

Salah joined Liverpool from Serie A side AS Roma in the summer and has since scored 23 goals and made six assists in 29 appearances.

“Salah has scored many goals and I’m very happy with what he has achieved. His fan base has increased because he is such a great player who has achieved a lot. Jürgen Klopp has suitably moved Salah’s position. His performances have greatly improved,” Fowler told OnSport channel.

“Of course Salah won’t stop scoring. He is able to score more goals and finish as top scorer since he’s able to score at any time.

“I’m confident that no one can stop Mohamed Salah from scoring wonderful goals, he is a powerful player,” Fowler added.

Along with his club achievements, the 25-year-old winger also guided Egypt to the World Cup for the first time in 28 years and ended up as joint-top scorer in the African World Cup Qualifiers. His 2017 achievements earned him the BBC African Player of the Year and CAF African Player of the Year awards.

“I don’t follow the Egyptian Premier League, but I do follow the Egyptian national team. They qualified to the World Cup for the third time, and played against England in the 1990 edition of the competition.

“However, the current team has many good players who are able to perform at a higher level [than before]. Qualifying to the World Cup is a remarkable achievement,” he added.

Liverpool currently sit in fourth place on the Premier League table with 44 points from 22 games. The Reds take on league leaders Manchester City on January 14.
