Salah Mohsen to be called up to Egypt squad in March
Salah Mohsen, 19 years old, has had a good first half of the season with ENPPI. The striker has scored 7 goals in the league this season, including a strike against Al Ahly, a brace against both Misr El-Makassa & Al masry. His club is currently ranked joint-fourth in the Egyptian Premier League with Zamalek.
Beside Al Ahly, European clubs have been reportedly keeping tabs on him. So far, Turkish club, Trabzonspor and another mystery team revealed by Mido have been linked with him.
He could be in line to fill the scoring boots in an Egyptian side that has struggled for goals. Cuper’s men play Portugal and Bulgaria on 23rd and 27th March 2018 respectively.
In the past year, Amr Gamal, Marwan Mohsen and Ahmed Koka have taken turns as Egypt’s starting striker. Mahmoud Kahraba has also slotten in the position, on occassions.
