Al Ain boss Mamic praises El-Shahat after debut goal
Al Ain manager Zoran Mamic heaped praise on Hussein El-Shahat after the Egyptian scored on his debut against league leaders Al Wasl.
The Ukrainian manager spoke about El-Shahat after the team’s 3-1 win against Al Wasl WHERE the Egyptian scored off the bench on his debut after moving from Misr El-Makassa on loan to the Emirati club on the UAE window deadline day.
“I wanted to give Hussein El-Shahat some confidence, but I was actually in need for his abilities in this match,” Mamic said in the post-match press conference.
“When I sent Hussein El-Shahat on, I needed his abilities on the pitch because he’s a skillful player, fast as well as Bandar Al-Ahbaby who performed well.
“I think Hussein El-Shahat got used to the team in the way that was demanded from him and we need all our players especially that we face many important challenges over the coming period domestically and and on continental level,” Mamic concluded.
