Degla Hold

have denied any interest in Al Ahly ace , saying they are interested in another Egyptian duo.

LAFC Egyptian goalkeepers coach, Zaki Abdelfatah, spoke to a local Egyptian radio station about the club’s interest in Egyptians and denying Said rumours.

Abdelfatah said the American club were only after Basel defender, Omar Gaber, who joined the team on loan in November, and were not keen on signing Al Ahly playmaker.

Hee went on to add they were after other Egyptians stating,”We are interested in signing two other Egyptians, one of which is Kasimpasa’s Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet'”.

El-Said has been one of the main pillars for the Egyptian national team and Al Ahly in their campaigns for a long-sought World Cup qualification and in Al Ahly’s 39th league title and reaching the CAF Champions League final, respectively.

The 32-year-old playmaker made 14 appearances in the Egyptian Premier League this season, being Al Ahly’s second top scorer with eight goals and registering five assists.

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.
