OFFICIAL: Zamalek’s Khaled Kamar joins Entag El-Harby on loan
Former Egypt international Khaled Kamar has joined Entag El-Harby on a six-month loan deal from Zamalek, the Military club have announced on Saturday.
The 29-year-old forward had only recently returned from a loan spell at Ittihad of Alexandria, however, he has struggled for playing time at the White Castle, making only four appearances this season and failed to score a single goal in a total of 148 minutes.
Fans might remember Khaled Kamar as the man who conquered Chile during an international friendly match between the two nations in 2014, when he scored his only international goal as his side lost 2-3.
Zamalek president Mortada Mansour emphasized that the decision to loan Kamar came from the coaching team and was purely a tactical one.
He becomes Entag El-Harby’s fifth signing in the January transfer window after Ahmed Sherwyda from Ittihad of Alexandria, Youssef Alaa on loan from Al Ahly, Misr El-Makkasa loanee Mahmoud Hamada and Ahmed El-Esh from Wadi Degla.
Zamalek are currently fifth in the Egyptian Premier League with 32 points, while El-Entag sit eighth with 26 points. The Whites’ next game will be against ENPPI, while El-Entag will be up against Al Ragaa.
