Zamalek have received an offer for Nigerian midfielder from a side.

Moruf Yusuf joined Zamalek from Ittihad El-Shorta at the beginning of the 2014/15 season. Since his move, Youssef has made 134 appearances across all competitions for the White Knights, scoring seven goals in the process. He also won the Egyptian league title, two Egypt Cups, and one Egypt Super Cup during his three-and-half year stint with Zamalek.

Al Fateh have sent an offer to Zamalek to acquire the player’s services on loan for the second half of the season.

The 25-year old midfielder was called up by the Nigerian National Team in the summer of 2017, but did not feature in any matches.

Coincidentally, Al Fateh signed former Zamalek left-back Mohamed Abdel-Shafy on loan from Al Ahli this window. In addition, the Al Hasa-based team has been linked with former Al Ahly and Al Nassr midfielder Hossam Ghaly.

Al Fateh are currently in eighth place with 22 points form 18 games after an emphatic win over Al Qadisiyah on Monday. They will next take on Ahmed El-Sheikh and Al Ettifaq on February 3 in the 20th week of the Saudi Professional League.

In addition to being a football/soccer and basketball enthusiast, I am currently pursuing a combined BS/MD degree at VCU. I also currently work as a Pharmacy Technician in my spare time.
