Ghana’s Andre Ayew rejoins Swansea City in club-record deal
The 28 year-old returns back to Liberty Stadium after leaving The Swans in the 2016 summer transfer window as he headed to West Ham United in a £20.5 million deal.
The English Premier League strugglers have announced that the Ghanaian International has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club, after agreeing an undisclosed fee with the Hammers, which was reported to be in the region of £18m.
Ayew had a very successful campaign in his single season with Swansea City after joining the club from Olympique de Marseille in the summer of 2015, as his 12 goals secured a comfortable mid-table finish for the Welsh side.
The Ghanaian striker is set to reunite with his younger brother Jordan, after partnering each other at the Vélodrome before their moves to the English Premier League.
