Security gives all-clear for Portsaid stadium to host Confederation Cup games
The football security committee, formed by the Ministry of the Interior has agreed to host the Egyptian club’s stadium for the African Confederation Cup group stage matches.
The security committee visited the stadium this afternoon to inspect all its facilities and reassured all the arrangements made by the club’s board members, headed by the chairman, Samir Halabia, that met all the security requirements and approved that the stadium is ready to host the matches.
Al Masry are set to face Zambian counterparts, Green Buffaloes FC, in their first clash on Saturday February 10th, in hopes of getting the advantage of playing in front of their fans after six years of absence.
