I want to score more goals, says Mahmoud Trezeguet
Egyptian winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet is happy with his current goalscoring form and his performances with Kasimpasa in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The 23-year-old scored in his side’s 1-1 draw with Yeni Malatyaspor in gameweek 21 of the league on Friday. He has already reached his best-ever goalscoring tally in a single season after netting 10 goals so far with the Turkish side.
He became the seventh Egyptian to score 10 or more goals in a single season in Europe, alongside Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’, Ahmed Hassan, Ahmed Hassan Kouka, Mohamed Salah, Amr Zaky and Mohamed Zidan.
“I work hard to achieve my goal, which is to finish the season in the best possible way,” Trezeguet said following Friday’s game.
No player in the Turkish Super Lig has completed more successful dribbles than Trezeguet, who has 51 successful dribbles so far.
“I want to keep on giving my best efforts and score more goals to finish the competition in a good way then see the offers I will get,” he added.
Kasimpasa now sit 11th on the league table with 26 points. They’ll face second-placed Galatasaray on February 18.
