Mohamed Sherif included as Al Ahly name squad for Contractors clash
Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry has named his 22-man squad that will face Arab Contractors in the 23rd round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The Red Devils will face Arab Contractors, four days after thrashing them 3-0 in a postponed match from the sixth round, thanks to goals from Phakamani Mahlambi, Walid Azaro, and Abdallah El-Said.
El-Badry has decided to name new signing Mohamed Sherif, who joined from Wadi Degla last January, as well as Salah Mohsen, who made his debut last Thursday. The squad also witnessed the inclusion of Akram Tawfik, Ahmed Hamoudi, Ali Lotfi, and Mahlambi.
On the other hand, Bassem Ali, Mohamed Hany, Ali Maaloul, Saad Samir, Ahmed Hamdy and Marwan Mohsen were excluded due to injuries, while team captain Hossam Ghaly and Mido Gaber were omitted for technical reasons.
The Reds are currently top of the league with 57 points, 11 more than second-placed Ismaily, while Arab Contractors sit eighth with 31 points.

Defenders: Mohamed Naguib, Ayman Ashraf, Sabry Rahil, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim.
Midfielders: Abdallah El-Said, Hossam Ashour, Karim Nedved, Mahlambi, Islam Mohareb, Amr El-Sulya, Hesham Mohamed, Akram Tawfik, Ahmed Hamoudi, Walid Soliman, Mohamed Sherif.
Attackers: Junior Ajayi, Walid Azaro, Salah Mohsen.
