Didier Drogba: Mohamed Salah has always been good player
Mohamed Salah played alongside Didier Drogba during his time at Chelsea in 2014, where the Egypt international managed to make only 19 appearances, scoring two goals.
However, his form now with Liverpool has seen him linked with a move to European giants Real Madrid, but Drogba thinks he should continue working with Jürgen Klopp.
“He has always been a good player. We all knew he had it in him,” The Ivorian told The Sun.
“Maybe now he works with managers who are more willing to give him more responsibility.
“If you look with his national team too, he is maybe the biggest player they have.
“In Italy, he did very well with a big club and now he has gone to England and he is doing even better. He has been fantastic,” he concluded.
It’s not the first time the Ivorian legend has lauded Mohamed Salah, as the 39-year-old called him a ‘leader’ following his brace against Congo in the World Cup qualifiers.
