EXCLUSIVE | Mido confirms negotiations with PSG over managerial job
Former Egypt national team forward Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ has confirmed negotiations with PSG over a managerial post starting next season.
Mido, 34, has confirmed to KingFut the presence of negotiations to take helm of Paris Saint-Germain’s U-19 team.
“There are negotiations going on, it might happen very soon,” Mido told KingFut.
The former AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspur player recently left his last post as Wadi Degla FC manager after spending just over 12 months in charge of the team.
Mido became the youngest manager in Egypt’s history to win a title after guiding Zamalek to the Egypt Cup trophy in 2014. He was also the youngest manager appointed in history of Africa’s second-most successful club.
As well as having a brief stint as Ismaily coach, he was also appointed as Lierse S.K. Technical Advisor at one point.
Mido was also a former BeIN Sports pundit, which is owned by Qatari businessman Nasser Al-Khelaifi. He also owns the French club which makes the move a real possibility.
