Abdallah El-Said and Hamoudi ruled out of Dakhleya clash with injury
Abdallah El-Said picked up an injury during Al Ahly’s victory over Al Assiouty that forced him to miss Al-Nasr and Entag El-Harby clashes.
According to the medical staff, El-Said is currently undergoing a rehabilitation program to be able to return to training sessions. He is expected to return to train with the team after one week.
The 32-year-old attacking midfielder plays a pivotal role in Al Ahly’s midfield with his encompassing passes and crucial goals. El-Said has contributed with 10 goals and 11 assists in the Egyptian Premier League this season.
Ahmed Hamoudi will also be out of action as he suffered an ankle sprain during the team’s match with Entag El-Harby. Medical tests conducted confirmed the injury, yet, the extent of the injury will be determined after the player conducts the Xray test to be able to know when he can return to training sessions.
The Red Devils’ last encounter with Dakhleya in the league ended with a 2-0 victory for the Cairo-based club. With 69 points, Al Ahly are leading the league table far ahead from second-place Zamalek and getting closer to securing the title.
