Towards the end of the first half Aguero nearly chipped Ospina again but Laurent Koscielny was there to keep out the ball which fell at the feet of Kevin De Bruyne who smashed it inches away.

Early in the second half Vincent Kompany almost scored the second but it went just wide. Minutes later Fernandinho picked up a knock and was replaced by Bernardo Silva.
