OFFICIAL: Benjamin Moukandjo joins China’s Beijing Renhe on loan
The 29-year-old has only joined Jiangsu Suning last July from French side Lorient, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in ten appearances.
Despite his impressive form, Jiangsu Suning has agreed to let him leave to join newly-promoted side Beijing Renhe on loan.
The striker will occupy the club’s final foreign player slot after former Atletico Madrid midfielder Augusto Fernández, Brazil’s Ivo, and Ecuador international Jaime Ayoví.
Benjamin Moukandjo, who was part of the Cameroon squad that won the 2017 AFCON, started his career at KSA Yaoundé, before playing for nine years in France for a number of clubs, namely Stade Rennais, Entente SSG, Nîmes Olympique, AS Monaco, AS Nancy-Lorraine, Stade Reims, and FC Lorient.
He is the only second Cameronian in the Chinese Super League alongside 2017 AFCON best player Christian Bassogog, who plies his trade at Henan Jianye.
