LAFC manager Bob Bradley offers update on Omar Gaber injury
Los Angeles FC manager Bob Bradley talked about Omar Gaber’s injury with the MLS team ahead of the new season.
Gaber announced on his Twitter account late in January that he would miss three weeks after sustaining a groin injury.
The former Egypt national team manager offered updates on the condition of the Egyptian international as well as his teammate Laurent Ciman.
“Laurent and Omar are working their way back into training,” Bradley explained. “Both have missed a good part of preseason, so we’ve got to still factor in how to move them back into things, because they haven’t had the same type of base that everybody else has had.”
It remains unclear whether Gaber, who joined LAFC on a one-year loan deal from Swiss giants Basel FC in November, will be ready for the team’s first-ever competitive match against Seattle Sounders on Sunday.
