Guizhou Hengfeng FC sign Gambian forward Bubacarr Trawally

Bubacarr Trawally
Chinese Super League club Guizhou Hengfeng FC have signed international striker on a free transfer.

The Gambian forward joined 2017/18 Chinese Super League eighth-placed Guizhou Hengfeng FC after a good season with Yanbian Funde, which saw him score 18 goals in 28 appearances.

He, however, terminated his contract with relegated side Yanbian Funde, which was set to expire in December 2018.

Trawally, also nicknamed Steve, joined Hangzhou Greentown from Gambian team Real de Banjul in 2015. The forward, who has six international caps for the Gambia, was then loaned to Yanbian Funde before making his move permanent in 2016.

The 23-year-old attacker played a pivotal role in the team’s promotion to the Super League after scoring 17 goals in 26 appearances. He was named the Chinese Super League MVP in the following two seasons.
