Osama Oraby sacked as Tanta coach following Ittihad defeat
Tanta have conceded yet another loss that complicated their battle for salvation, after falling to a 0-1 home defeat against Ittihad, the deciding goal was scored by Al Ahly loanee Fawzy El-Hennawy.
Tanta have not won any of their last five league games, losing two and getting other three draws. The club holds the 16th place in the league table with 24 points after 27 rounds and are currently one of the three teams set to relegate to second division.
Fayez Oreiby, Tanta president, has confirmed on Wednesday that Oraby has been sacked, with his replacement set to be an Egyptian successor.
Oreiby justified that the main motive behind the club’s decision was the team’s poor results as of late.
