Tanta appoint Emad El-Nahas as new manager
Egyptian Premier League side Tanta have appointed Emad El-Nahas as their new manager following the sacking of Osama Oraby.
The decision to appoint El-Nahas came just hours after sacking Osama Oraby following their recent 1-0 loss at home to Ittihad of Alexandria.
The former Al Ahly center back is set to take over a struggling Tanta side with only 24 points from 27 games, currently in 16th place with the fear of relegation beginning to rise among club board members.
Tanta travel to face Arab Contractors SC on Monday as they look to climb up the league table with only two points separating them from safety.
El-Nahas, who previously led Aswan SC to promotion, left his position as Al Ragaa head coach in December after a series of poor results.
