Netherlands legend Frank Rijkaard sends message to Mohamed Salah

Netherlands legends and former Barcelona manager has hailed , saying he loves the Egyptian’s game.

The Egyptian has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 32 goals across all competitions, just four behind Robbie Fowler’s tally in 1996, which is also the record for most goals scored by a Liverpool player in a single season.

He also managed to equal Togo’s Emmanuel Adebayor as the second-highest scoring African in a single league campaign (24), with Drogba just five goals away as we embark on the final chapter of the season.

And legend Frank Rijkaard, who played for the likes of Ajax and Milan and also managed Barcelona, Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia, has praised the Egyptian’s form.

“This is a message to Mohamed Salah. You’re in a very good condition and I love your game. I wish you all the best.” the Dutch legend said in a video.

Mohamed Salah is currently the joint top Premier League scorer alongside Harry Kane with 24 goals, and will be hoping to become the only second African player to win the Golden boot after Didier Drogba, who won it twice in 2007 and 2010.

Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League table with 60 points, only one ahead of Manchester United with the Red Devils having a game in hand. The Reds’ next game will be against Porto in the Champions League on March 6.
