Cuper calls up 17 foreign-based player for March friendlies
Egypt national team manager Hector Cuper has named 17 foreign-based players for the team’s fixtures against Portugal and Greece.

Cuper’s list did not include the likes of Vancouver Whitecaps’ Aly Ghazal or Bidvest Wits’ Amr Gamal, yet for the first time the Argentinian decided to call Hussien El-Shahat to join his squad, following the scintillating football form he has been offering at the UAE Arabian Gulf League.
