Ehab Galal: We will respond with a big victory in Cairo

Zamalek manager has revealed his confidence in his team’s capabilities to advance to the next round of , despite the defeat against Ethiopia’s Welayta Dicha in the first leg.

The White Castle have suffered a narrow 2-1 away defeat against Welyta Dicha in the first leg of Round of 32, as Zamalek just need one-goal victory in Cairo to qualify to the playoff round.

Galal has claimed that his side have dominated the game but it was due to mistakes that they suffered defeat, believing in his team’s abilities to comfortably beat the Ethiopian Cup Champions in Cairo.

“We have to no longer think about today’s result, we will respond with a big victory in Cairo, Dicha aren’t a big side,” Galal said after the game.

“We have dominated the second half, Dicha have only threatened us in their second goal. Making mistakes is expected in such a bad pitch where controlling the ball is a challenge,”

Zamalek will be looking for a comfortable vicotroy when they host the second leg on Sunday, March 18, in order to continue their CAF Confederations cup campaign.
