The Moroccan national have officially called up Al Ahly striker Walid Azarou for the side’s upcoming international friendlies against Serbia and Uzbekistan.
Reports from Morocco had stated that Herve Renard intends to give Azarou another chance to showcase his talent with the national team after a period of absence since his last call with Atlas Lions on June 10, 2017 when they faced Cameroon in AFCON qualifiers.
The 22-year-old is currently the Egyptian Premier League top scorer with 17 goals, becoming the first foreigner to net this amount of goals in a single season in the league’s history.
