Helmy Toulan steps down from his position as Tala’ea El Gaish manager
Helmy Toulan, Tala’ea El Gaish’s manager, has submitted his resignation from his position during the current period.
Helmy Toulan was appointed manager of El Tala’ea on November 29, replacing the former coach, Ahmed Samy. Toulan managed the team in 18 league games in which he was able to win a total of 6 games, lost 9 and drew on 3 ocassions.
Unfortunately for Toulan, El Tala’ea was beaten in five consecutive games against Smouha, Wadi Degla, Petrojet, Zamalek and El-Nasr, and that eventually led to him taking the decision to step down from his managerial position before the end of the season.
The 68 year old manager said that his goal was to help the team avoid relegation this season, which is what the team is approaching after Toulan was handed the managerial position in the middle of this season.
He added that he thanked the board for the trust they had in him and their presence with the team, but the former Egypt National team manager has described the situation at Tala’ea El Gaish as difficult and that he cannot continue to proceed in his role as a manager anymore.
