Referee in Malawi accused of killing player
A referee in Malawi named McKnight Nyekheya is currently facing murder charges after he was forced to beat a player who later died of his injuries in hospital.
The referee officiated a match between Billiat Fc and Chilengo FC in Thyolo, Malawi in which Chilengo players protested the referee’s decision to disallow a penalty for their team.
