Al Ahly’s Phakamani Mahlambi receives South Africa national team call-up

Al Ahly center-forward has officially received a South African national team call-up after a decent run of form.

Mahlambi has had a good start to his Al Ahly career given the number of games he played, where he contributed to a goal and five assists in 11 appearances for the Red Devils.

It’s worth mentioning that all of Al Ahly’s four foreign players have been officially called up now to their respective national teams. (Walid Azaro to Morcco, Junior Ajayi to Nigeria, Aly Maaloul to Tunisia and Phakamani Mahlambi to ).

The Bafana Bafana are set to play a friendly tournament in the international break joining countries such as Angola, Zimbabwe and Zambia, set to take place between the 22nd and the 25th of March.
