Tala’a El-Gaish’s Wasswa speaks on quick adaptation to Egyptian League
Tala’a El-Gaish midfielder Hassan Wasswa has highlighted on his time since joining the Egyptian Premier League side and how the familiar atmosphere in Egypt helped him to adapt quickly.
Wasswa joined El-Gaish in summer 2017 arriving from Lebanese outfit Al Nejmeh, which had Egypt international Mahmoud Fathallah in their roster.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder has made nine appearances with El-Gaish in the Egyptian Premier League this season.
Wasswa illustrated that he didn’t find hurdles in his way towards cooping with the environment in Egypt.
“I have not found life hard in Egypt because i easily communicate with everyone with my little Arabic language I know,” the Uganda international told Bigwhale Sports.
“When it comes to football I always ensure I work extra hard and keep extra fit as well as praying a lot to God. That has helped me a lot to adapt to the Egyptian league so fast,” he added.
