After his incredible four goal, one assist performance against Watford on Saturday, was full of gratitude towards his teammates, stating, “without them I couldn’t have reached these numbers”.

Liverpool comfortably handled Watford by a score of 5-0, and star man Mohamed Salah was directly involved in every goal, including putting four in the back of the net himself.

He scored twice in the first half and added another two goals in the 2nd half to take his Premier League goal tally to 28 on the season. However, Egypt’s star man was quick to thank his teammates. He said, “I have to thank every one of my teammates, without them I couldn’t have reached these numbers.”

Salah added, “Each game we try to get the three points, that’s the most important thing, but every game I want to score, I want to help the team”. He also praised the team for their response after a loss to rivals Manchester United.

“I think we showed a good reaction after the last game, we had a good result – 5-0 – and a clean sheet is important. [Now] we have to look forward to the next games.”

Liverpool’s next league game is against Crystal Palace, and they’ve been matched up with Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champion’s League.
