’s incredible four-goal performance against Watford helped him set his latest series of records as he continues his breathtaking debut season with Liverpool.

Earlier this month, Salah became the quickest Liverpool player to net 20 goals in the Premier League. He also become the Liverpool player with most left-footed goals in a single Premier League season, among a number of other records.

Following his super hat-trick on Saturday, the Egypt international raced ahead in the battle for the Premier League Golden Boot as he now stands four goals ahead of Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

By the time Salah had scored his third goal of the match, he had already set new records for both Egyptian football and Liverpool.

After surpassing Luis Suarez’s goal record from the Uruguayan’s incredible 2014 PFA Player of the Year season earlier this month, Salah equalled Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler’s best goal scoring season on Saturday.

Salah, who is showing no signs of slowing down, also scored more goals than any other Liverpool player in their debut season at Anfield. He has 36 goals to his name for Liverpool in all competitions this season.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has highly praised Salah following his impressive performance against Watford as he described the former Chelsea winger as “the best player in the Premier League, on current form”.
