Hossam El-Badry hints at possible Saleh Gomaa return
Al Ahly boss Hossam El-Badry pointed out that he is following midfielder Saleh Gomaa who is currently on loan to Saudi outfit Al-Faisaly.
Saleh Gomaa was loaned to Saudi team Al-Faisaly after he was deemed surplus to requirements and was part of a move that saw Amr Barakat & Hussein El-Sayed shipped to Saudi Arabia for a combined fee of $2.5M.
The boss talked before about reinforcing the current squad and players on loan assuring that Nasser Maher is currently the only player who will return to the club for sure. From his side, and after his loan move, Gomaa said that his desire is to remain with the Red Devils.
“Saleh is now presenting good performances with his team. His physical and technical form bring him closer to return to Al Ahly,” El-Badry told the club’s official website.
El-Badry added that Gomaa was the one who asked to move to Saudi Arabia so that he can get more game time and manage to return to his form.
