Liverpool in pursuit of Ramadan Sobhi to keep Mohamed Salah – Report

According to a report by the Express, Liverpool are hoping to acquire the services of Stoke City’s in the summer to keep at Anfield.

Following Salah’s super hat-trick in Liverpool’s 5-0 thrashing of Watford on Saturday, the 25-year-old has now scored 28 league goals and is currently in contention with Lionel Messi, Edinson Cavani and Ciro Immobile for the European Golden Shoe.

The left-footed winger’s red-hot form has already started talks and rumors of a potential move to Real Madrid or Barcelona this summer but Liverpool are reportedly willing to resist any offers in the transfer window.

According to TEAMTalk, Salah has recommended his national team compatriot Ramadan Sobhi to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

It’s worth mentioning that the Reds had scouted Sobhi with Al Ahly before making the move to Stoke in the summer transfer window of 2016.

Sobhi hasn’t been a starter under former Stoke manager Mark Hughes and has only started one game recently under current manager Paul Lambert, which was against Everton.
