Salah Mohsen: Al Ahly is my gate to Europe
Al Ahly’s record breaking signing Salah Mohsen has revealed his hopes to play in Europe in the future, believing that playing for the Red Devils is an crucial step to achieve his dream.
The former ENPPI winger has been on the radar of multiple European outfits as Austria Wien, Olympique Marseille and Borussia Dortmund, before he chose to join the Al Ahly for 38 million EGP, becoming the most expensive signing in Egyptian football.
“I don’t focus on my price tag and being the most expensive player in Egypt, all my concentration is with Al Ahly, doing my best to help winning trophies with the club,” the 19 year old spoke to OnSports.
“Al Ahly are a big club, I hope it can be my step to play in the best club in the world,” Mohsen concluded.
Mohsen has won his first trophy with Al Ahly after winning the club’s 40th league title, scoring one goal in his six games with the club so far and overall eight goals this term.
