England international and Liverpool‘s right back, Joe Gomez, can’t seem to decide between who is better, Mohamed Salah and .

Gomez rates the Egyptian so highly after a record-breaking season, scoring 28 Premier League goals and is currently leading the race for Golden Boot award.

Yet, the Anfield youngster also considers Neymar, the most expensive player in the world, as a top-quality opposition.

Gomez said, “There is top quality back at the club that I face in training, which is good preparation for playing against people like Neymar, but there also is with England.

“Just training develops us. I’m not sure who is the better player, for instance, between Neymar and Mo. It’s hard to judge based on one game against Neymar.

“Everyone is different on different days, but they are incredible players. It’s a pleasure for me to come up against such talent.”

He added, “It would be hard to say who is better. They both have their individual talents. I’ll stay on the safe side and say they are both world class.

“Against Neymar I had to be on the front foot, because he has such confidence and can play off both feet. You can’t be afraid to front up someone.”

Salah is currently Europe’s second top-scorer with 36 goals in all competitions and one behind Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
