Al Ahly: Saleh Gomaa could return at the end of the season
Al Ahly’s director of football Sayed Abdel-Hafiz has stated that Saleh Gomaa’s return to Al Ahly at the end of the current season is a possibility.
Abdel-Hafiz stated that the 24 year old midfielder, who was loaned to the Saudi club Al Faisaly on loan for one-and-a-half year loan, has a clause in his contract which says that Al Ahly can terminate the move at the end of his first season.
The resolution on Gomaa’s return to the Red Devils in the end of this season will be in the light of a meeting with the manager Hossam El-Badry, and that wasn’t only Saleh Gomaa’s case but the same for all the club loanees.
The former Al Ahly right back concluded his words by saying that there are positive indications of the 24-year-old playmaker possible return due to the his performance, commitment and overall condition with Al Faisaly.
The final decision of whether the player will terminate his loan spell with the Saudi team prematurely or not will be within the coming days.
Gomaa has only appeared in 6 league games for Al Faisaly and was able to hand in an assist throughout his time at Saudi Arabia.
