Ramadan Sobhi responds to speculation regarding Stoke City future

Egyptian winger replies to speculation surrounding his Stoke City future saying he is focused on completing a good season with the English team.

Sobhi has been struggling at 19th placed Stoke City, receiving little game time and few starts with most of his appearances as a late substitute. He responded to speculations regarding leaving relegation zone battlers Stoke who have 27 points from 31 matches.

Sobhi told MBC Masr that he is focused on playing well with the Potters in the remaining months of the season to guarantee a spot in ’s starting team in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“I hope to be able to preform well with Stoke so I can be with Egypt at the World Cup.” Robhi said. “Of course everyone is worried about their place with the team [Egypt].”

“I hope we do well at the World Cup and then I can start thinking of leaving the club.”

According to his agent Nader Shawki, the 21-year-old Egyptian has four offers from Premier League clubs.

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.
