Trezeguet scores in Kasimpasa’s win over Goztepe

Kasimpasa secure a 0-2 away win against , as managed to snatch a late goal to secure the victory. 

Turkish center back Veysel Sari received a pinpoint long ball from Strahil Popov at the edge of the opposition’s box and perfectly tapped the ball in Portguese shot stopper Beto to give Kasimpasa the lead.

However, Goztepe dominated the rest of the game creating danger from every opportunity, until Milos Kosanovic received a red card opening some space at the back for Kasimpasa to hit them on counters.

In the dying minutes of the game, French striker Bangaly-Fodé Koita made a slaloming run and gave Trezeguet a clear cut chance, and the Pharaoh managed to perfectly slot it in slaying any hope left for the home side.

This was Kasimpasa’s first win in the Super Lig since February 18 and their first away win since last November.

Trezeguet and his teammates will be facing Bursaspor in their next league fixture on Sunday April 8.
